The Federal Government of Nigeria has made available the empowerment of 500,000 teachers under the npower.gov.ng initiative
which will provide instant a week in-
house/field training for the teachers.

To this end, the Federal Government
has made available the portal for the
recruitment (www.npower.gov.ng ) to make it easier for all interested personnel’s to apply for this
empowerment exercise.

This NPower.gov.ng initiative was born by the current administration desire to better empower the Nigerian youth as promised by
providing teaching Jobs at various
levels.

The npower.gov.ng schemes will not
only give jobs to those looking for gainful employment; it will also curb the level of poverty in the nation.

The beauty of the Npower initiative and registering on www.npower.gov.ng is that, the federal government will enroll successful applicants in various sector of the economy.
The training exercise is supposedly to take 24months (2years) and all during this period; they will all be receiving monthly pay checks and bonuses as full staffs in the sector.

Below are some of the categories of
employment under the N-power
schemes:

N-Power Teach – This N-power
scheme will deal with those who are interested in being trained for teaching careers and will be enrolled into the teaching sphere.

N-Power Health – This Npower
initiative will deal with all health and medical undergraduates who will be recruited into the health Sector.

NB: You must be a science major to
participate in the Health N power
scheme.

N-Power Community Education – This N-power category will empower community education, civic services and giving back to the community in terms of learning and teaching.

N-Power Agro – These people will be
trained to implement various Agricultural developments in Nigeria.
